The School of Economics is seeking to appoint one Stipendiary Fellow on a full-time, fixed-term basis for 24 months. This post is expected to commence in September 2026.

The role:
We are seeking outstanding candidates of demonstrated ability and high potential in the area of Applied Economics.
The Stipendiary Fellowship is aimed at final stage PhD students, or recent PhDs in Economics, who are seeking the opportunity to focus on teaching and research and to establish their credibility as candidates in the job market. We are looking for candidates with teaching and research expertise in Applied Economics. The role will be split between research (35%) and teaching (65%). Teaching could be at either or both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
